Getting Started
Typically the system setup runs about $6,000, but we have many sponsors that will cover any cost to setup the system in your school. For this they will want to be mentioned within the Community Information Server. All mentions are acceptable by the school administration or it will not be posted.
Steps to get Started:
- Typically the video or multimedia teacher / director of the department will evaluate the program and then take to the administration for approval.
- Administrators will review the agreement that's already in use in schools today and approve (or not approve) and then return to us here at Student's Business.
- Once approved the teacher receives a system setup questionnaire and returns it to Student's Business.
- The system is provisioned and incorporated into a brand new website. The website will be used for login purposes, scheduling, and for the video class to sell services to the community to help fund class and other school projects.
- All participant support after the setup is complete is handled by www.EcTownUSA.com at no cost to the school, or the member businesses. There are no issues relating to the support services for the school to worry about even while the school is out of session for the summer or during holiday periods.
Financial Accountability:
- A centralized merchant account is used to accept credit cards from participating businesses. All collected monies go electronically to Student's Business.
- Each month the school receives a full (audit ready) report along with a check.
- 100% of one-time setup fees are paid to the school minus a small transaction fee for the credit card processing.
- 52% of the annual $99.95 hosting and support service fee goes directly to the school.
- Revenue is designed to renew for most participants on an annual recurring basis. Income potential is significant!
- The company will honor requests by school's auditors if requested on all school related financial tracking matters.
